Our Story
Sadly, the world today is becoming more chaotic and fast paced. Incidents such as active shooters, medical emergencies, or other fast-moving events regrettably happen every day. Persons like ourselves who own or manage offices, large campuses, Churches or who are responsible for large numbers of people have started to question what they could do to make their campus safer.
As a result, our journey started by looking for a simple, yet affordable alerting system to notify our safety/medical team for our church. After an exhaustive search, we decided to create an alerting system that enhances overall campus safety. Our company was established by security and technology experts who had previous experience in software engineering and complex technology systems. Previously known panic style buttons only utilized one response. We felt having a multi-button box, called the Custos (Latin word meaning "keeper," "guard," or "custodian,"), allowed a one push alerting that could alert our internal Safety, Medical teams and/or be able to simultaneously call 911 all in one simple push of a button.
Communications to the required response team(s) in the form of a text message saying what the specific issue is, where to go and who to contact. As other businesses heard about what we did for our church, this quickly expanded to providing the same services to businesses, municipalities and care centers. Our system links your organization/business emergency alerts to law enforcement and emergency response professionals with a simple push of a button. We work with your business/organization to develop and/or enhance your medical and safety procedures and ongoing training to utilize the technologies to allow streamlined responses that enables confidence in times of need.
